Reporting to the head of delivery this role will lead the business change activity in our project team and support the delivery of a critical strategic project.

Our goal is to ensure that RS’s activities change with the times and business needs, all of this will be supported by the change management community, business owner and project management.

This role is all about developing your change and project management skills.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

The business change manager will be working on a number of different projects and initiatives you will be responsible for coordinating business change across the planned activity with the goal of achieving positive outcomes for the team.

 

This role sits within the Product & Supply chain function of the business and handles business change across EMEA, your other responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop and manage a team from all different functions in the business.
  • Ensure this team remains proactive, effective and committed to driving and embedding change.
  • Deliver on and champion the highest possible standards utilising all available tools & skills.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and other dependencies within the project functions.

The business change manager will also need to manage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders across EMEA.

 

 

What do I need to be successful?

 

You will need to have significant experience in business change and continuous improvement alongside demonstrable project management knowledge and exposure. We are not looking specifically for industry experience but it would be ideal for it to be more based around logistics, retail or supply chain.

 

We are also looking for someone with:

 

  • Relevant qualifications: PROSCI, CMI, 7S’, APM, PRINCE2 & MSP
  • Knowledge of Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid methodologies
  • Ability to motivate and drive others to succeed
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong relationship building skills

The business change manager will need to communicate across all levels and areas of the business with this coming hand in hand with the ability to effectively challenge and build credibility and demonstrate integrity.
