This role is part of RS Americas, Warehouse Operations team, a function that receives, stores and maintains 275,000 stocked products, and processes and dispatches all customer orders that originate in North America. It operates from a fully automated, climate-controlled distribution center in Texas, with an engaged and dedicated team, passionate to serve our customers every single day.
About the role
Role Purpose
The Warehouse Operations BPO (Business Process Owner) role, is to ensure that the functional processes of the operation are understood, utilized and efficiently supported by our integrated systems. Will serve to effectively supply the business’s operation’s needs, knowledge and expertise within their business area. They will provide input with discovery, support business process reengineering, and be champions of change. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help develop, coordinate and implement key initiatives, projects and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyses, KPI performances, customer and employee feedback and data, to explore and validate problems and opportunities.
- Work with Operations team members and leadership, to define and agree solutions to identified opportunities.
- Provides project coordination, to ensure a structured approach to prioritized agendas, to enable deadlines to be achieved and benefits effectively realized.
- Provides in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations processes and reporting, with a technical understanding, to support workshop discussions, business decision-making, and process enhancing.
- Represents operations in project activities, providing a two-way communication channel for queries, input, feedback and validation, working closely with other business BPOs and relevant stakeholders.
- Understands overall business functional flows, to support end to end streamlining.
- Champions new process and project implementations, with effective collaboration and change management to support the development, testing and early adoption of operational enhancements.
- Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure good working relationships conducive to continuous improvement in process and efficiency.

Org Structure
Reporting to Director of Warehouse Operations, as part of the Warehouse Management Team. No direct reports.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in supporting warehouse automation systems, via Warehouse Management System (WMS & WCS) applications, including integration to an ERP and other associated sub-systems systems, from a technical landscape and operational perspective.
- Proven, extensive experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment, within a similar role or with relevant experience, of effectively executing critical operations deliverables.
- Strong working knowledge of safety policy, operational processes (SOP), compliance requirements, and industry best practices, within a warehouse/manufacturing facility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using appropriate applications and methods, to identify challenges and develop effective solutions, and deliver using change management methods.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and execute tasks to firm deadlines, within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected changes or challenges in operations.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experienced in continuous improvement (CI) and/or Change Management methodologies
- Working knowledge of SAP LE/MM/SD applications
