Senior Integration Developer

Location: This role is offered on permanent basis and can be based fully remotely.
 
Overview of the Role

As a Senior Integration Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting our enterprise systems—SAP, Salesforce, eCommerce, and more—using SAP Integration Suite (SAP-IS). You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. With a focus on innovation, performance, and security, you’ll help shape the future of our integration landscape.

What You Will Be Doing
•    Designing, building, and configuring integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (SAP-IS) to meet complex business needs.
•    Delivering high-quality, secure integration solutions across ERP, eCommerce, and cloud platforms.
•    Acting as a subject matter expert for integration architecture and deployment within the organisation.
•    Monitoring and optimising interface performance to ensure stability and efficiency.
•    Collaborating with solution architects, developers, and business leads to align integrations with strategic goals.
•    Leading proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new middleware tools and technologies.
•    Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, while mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices.

About You
•    You bring experience in integration development and architecture, with experience specifically using SAP IS/CPI.
•    You have hands-on experience integrating systems like Salesforce, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and eCommerce platforms with SAP.
•    You’re skilled in Groovy and Java scripting, SAP message mapping, and complex transformation logic.
•    You understand key connectivity protocols and adapters (e.g., IDoc, SFTP, SOAP/REST, RFC, JMS).
•    You’re confident in monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and SAP integration APIs.
•    Bonus points for experience with Mulesoft, Advanced Event Mesh, SAP PI/PO, or EDI X.12.
