RS IN THE UK & IRELAND

Within our RS UK&I team, we have a wide range of experts and specialists that are passionate about making amazing happen for our customers. Together, we provide vital products and services that keep industries moving.

You won’t find many companies in the UK & Ireland that don’t rely on RS for something. From mechanical and electronic distribution to maintenance and safety solutions – we have a unique set of capabilities that enable us to add real value for our customers every day.  

With official locations in London, Corby and Manchester our colleagues work across sales, customer services, operations, marketing, product, and supplier management – as well as various other support functions –  we’re a talented and collaborative bunch, inspired by the journey we are on to achieve greatness.

LIFE AT RS

We have a number of Employee Resource Groups that cover topics such as Gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, Ethnicity and Race. These groups are made up of passionate and inspired individuals that are determined to make the world – and RS – an even better, more inclusive place.

Our approach to ESG is clear and it reflects our purpose of ‘making amazing happen for a better world’. We have developed a 2030 ESG action plan which outlines our commitment to advancing sustainability, championing education & innovation, empowering our people, and doing business responsibly. At RS, we have made huge strides in these areas over the last few years, but there’s so much more to come in the future.

Our UK&I operations spread far and wide across the region. We have large offices in Corby, London and Dublin, as well as 16 RS Local Branches which are rooted in the communities that they serve. This gives us the perfect balance as part of a global organization, but with local knowledge and community values.

LOCAL TEAMS

  • Sales – In sales, we are problem solvers. We take the time to listen to our customers, so we can really understand what challenges they are facing – and how we can help with our exciting range of solutions and products.

    RS Locals – In our branch network, we are the spine of the business. We operate at the intersection point of our sales, operations and digital functions. Customers can pop in to speak to us about anything they need, and we always go the extra mile to help.

  • Customer Operations – The level of service we provide for our customers is what makes us unique. Whether it’s resolving issues or queries, or finding ways to enhance their experience with us - going above and beyond is what we do best.

    Marketing – We are the proud promoters of RS. We tell stories that help our customers understand how we can help them to overcome their challenges. Our fantastic range of solutions, and the great people that work here, make it easier for us to showcase how special RS is.

  • Product and Supplier Management – In our P&SM team, we are the relationship builders. We work with our key and strategic suppliers to source the products and services that our customers need – at the best value.

    Value Added Solutions – In our VAS team, we’re all about solutions. We are the relentless detectives that help customers uncover their challenges and find ways to overcome them through our solutions offering – whether it’s inventory, maintenance or calibration services.

This year, Connect UK - along with our annual Supplier Awards - took place at the Telford International Centre and welcomed more than 300 people over the course of two days.
