For over 3 years, RS has been associated worldwide with the Washing Machine Project, our global charity partner. This charity has developed an innovative, off-grid solution to help thousands of refugees and low-income people in the remote regions of the world do their laundry. This is because around 60% of the world's population washes clothes by hand. A manually operated washing machine that can be assembled and repaired with off-the-shelf tools helps the needy people around the world lighten the burden of doing laundry.

Recently, we attended GetNord for the first time, a leading trade fair for electrical, sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology. We were happy to have been at the hashtag #getnord2024 for the first time! Special thanks also go to Weller Tools and FLIR Systems, who presented exciting new products, as well as to Norbert Heinz for the demonstration of the RS PRO solar module.

On the T-shirts was written: We are constantly doing the right thing. Last week, an RS team from the Frankfurt office took this to heart and ran in this year's B2Run company run - around Deutsche Bank Park, the home of Eintracht Frankfurt. Being active together, but also with sporting ambition, all team members mastered the 5.3 km and celebrated each other afterwards with many "high fives" and cheers.
