As Team Leader, you'll take the reins in supervising a team of other great Credit Controllers, leading them to conquer the challenges of the Benelux market. Your role will involve crafting and executing strategies to achieve ambitious Cash Collection, Aged Debt, and DSO targets, all while aligning with RS Group Credit Policy and procedures.

Picture this: You at the helm, steering the ship toward financial success in the heart of the Benelux market. As the leader of our Local Credit Team, you won't just hit targets – you'll surpass them, driving Cash, Debtor, and DSO achievements that make waves.

What Will Be on Your Plate:

Imagine the satisfaction of diving into debtor queries and emerging victorious as the solver of financial puzzles. You'll be the one with the knack for identifying, investigating, and untangling those tricky debtor-related queries.

Ever the vigilant guardian of accuracy, you'll give debtors' ledgers a regular check-up. If any unallocated or mis posted payments dare to disrupt the balance, you'll swoop in and set things straight, all in the blink of an eye.

But that's not all. You'll be the master of reliable, up-to-date debtor information, ready to impress senior managers with your progress visibility. Month-end won't just be a deadline; it'll be your opportunity to shine. You'll produce those debtors reports with commentary that not only impress but also inform and inspire follow-up actions.

Disputes? They're no match for you. You'll record, manage, and even contribute to resolutions that bring closure. Irrecoverable debts won't stand a chance either – you'll team up with the Management Accountant to maintain a Bad Debt Provision that's as accurate as it is realistic.

Collaboration is your middle name. Working hand in hand with management teams, Credit & Risk, Process, Governance, and Audit, you'll build relationships that define good working ways and uphold the letter of the law.

Superb debtors reports you generate will transform cash forecasts into your realm of expertise. Moreover, the month-end debtors reports, enhanced with insightful commentary, stand as a pivotal foundation for thorough reviews.

The AR email inbox? It's your domain. Timely actions are your specialty, ensuring that all the right inbox emails are handled like the pro you are.

We would love you to have:

Fluent English and French or Dutch (written and verbal)

Team management experience

Proven ability to provide support using relevant tools to drive high team performance and exceed targets

Lived experience in crucial controls for governance, internal & external audits incorporating CI opportunities

Logical troubleshooting skills for both technical and non-technical issues in Accounts Receivable

Experience in managing risk and aging debt to prevent bad debt losses
