This is a fixed‑term, 12‑month maternity cover position.

Location: This is a remote role, offering the flexibility to work virtually from anywhere within Poland.

 

The Opportunity  

This is an exciting full‑time, home‑based opportunity to join our dynamic Accounts Receivable team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments in line with the company’s credit terms. You will also take ownership of identifying, documenting, and coordinating the resolution of customer disputes.

As part of a team of four Credit Controllers, you will support our activities across Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure that all queries are handled efficiently and professionally.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow up proactively with customers to resolve issues and secure timely payment. You should be highly motivated, adaptable, and confident in managing both telephone and written customer interactions. Previous experience in credit control or accounts, along with fluency in English, is essential.

You will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Team Manager and have the chance to contribute to a supportive team within a fast‑paced and international environment.

 

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Managing outstanding debt for assigned accounts through phone and written communication, while keeping accurate activity records.
  • Responding promptly and thoroughly to customer and internal queries.
  • Following up to ensure all queries are resolved and payments are made efficiently.
  • Identifying issues with problematic accounts and escalating them to the Collections Manager or Head of Finance when needed.
  • Monitoring customer credit limits and ensuring compliance with company credit policies.
  • Referring accounts to legal partners or debt collection agencies when appropriate, and managing any related follow‑up.
  • Reviewing and resolving blocked orders by identifying the root cause and taking necessary steps to release them.
  • Analysing online credit rating information and setting up credit limits for new customers.
  • Performing general administrative tasks and supporting the Collections Manager with ad‑hoc duties as required.

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Strong English and Polish language skills.
  • Experience working in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable department in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; SAP experience is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while applying sound commercial judgment and maintaining a customer‑focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexible, self‑motivated mindset and a strong team‑player attitude.
  • Confident, professional and engaging telephone manner.
