About the role:

The purpose of the Paid Advertising, Affiliates & Optimisation Manager – APAC is to deliver, through your team, the best in class digital solutions for our customers. You will be looking after a huge opportunity for us in Asia Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines & Thailand), with particular focus on managing a team of two paid specialists and one senior paid specialist who are responsible for the execution of yours and RS Components’ digital strategy. In addition, you will also be responsible for all of the regions affiliates activity and optimising all paid spend.

 

You will be supporting the Marketing & Digital Director - APAC in short term and long-term plans to deliver the most effective result in sales, traffic, Lifetime Value and other key performance indicators. Your team will be responsible for seamless communication with the local teams across the various markets stated above.

 

The role requires a candidate to have an excellent understanding of the digital landscape in each of the APAC markets and drive forward a plan that is tailored to and effective in each. The role should provide insight into local customer behaviour alongside a deep understanding of digital behaviours in each market.

You will be expected to understand:

  • Local market nuances in APAC
  • The different digital landscape in local markets and how this impacts RS
  • Paid performance strategies by market, what is effective in each and why

 

KPI

  • Paid advertising performance (ROAS, traffic, revenue)
  • Lifetime value of acquired customers
  • Overall digital performance by market

 

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years Paid Search experience
  • Experience at leading a high performing team including coaching/training/people management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics experience
  • Experience with bid management tools (SA360 a huge plus but not mandatory)
  • Experience in Paid Social, however this isn’t mandatory
  • An analytical and/or creative thinker with a curious thirst for knowledge
  • A strong understanding of the APAC markets listed above as well as the digital nuances in each market
  • Desire to learn and collaborate with other digital functions outside of Paid Media
  • English is essential and Japanese or Mandarin (a huge plus but not mandatory)
