The Sr. SAP Business Systems Analyst role includes the following but is not limited to:

  • Under general direction, serve as a senior level subject matter expert associated with content, process and procedures associated with SAP
  • Works within IT project teams and is responsible for eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyse and document business requirements
  • Details requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team
  • Work closely with technical staff to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to the business
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases scenarios, business analysis, tasks, and workflow analysis
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and requirements
  • Use enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies
  • Work with the business to define scope or priority as well as negotiate changes
  • Design and implement solutions via system configuration and/or development
  • Provide guidance and leadership to associate analysts in process analysis, configuration, and implementation methodologies within a functional area
  • Minimize the ongoing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for maintenance and upgrade of the SAP solution.
  • Utilize Sales & Distribution modules in SAP

 

What we are looking for

  • Primary duty and responsibility of Sr SAP Business Systems Analyst is to support the users from various sales departments of the company on their various sales and customer service business processes within SAP solution
  • This includes requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing and translating the requirement into a cost effective and viable solution
  • Ensure that SAP technical activities maximize the use and adoption of best business practices (Standard SAP solutions)
  • Responsibilities also include supporting existing processes, upgrades, and continuous improvement through streamlining procedures and eliminating wastes
  • Production Support and troubleshoot various issues in Production environment
  • Work with business users as well as consulting partners on various implementation /improvement projects
  • Supports SAP SD Modules associated with Order to cash process. Such as: Master Data, Sales, Pricing, Shipping, Logistics, Billing, Foreign Trade/Customs, Sales compliance & Customer Support.
  • Supports users from sales and operations departments in processes like yearly/monthly unbilled transactions, clean-up of sales & quotations, troubleshooting sales and distribution integrations, releasing billing documents for accounting
  • Works with business on requirement gathering and translating the requirement into solution through developing RICEF’s, coordinating with development team, testing, UAT etc.
  • Create and support various interfaces with SAP namely non-SAP order entry, E2 trade compliance app, Experian Address Validation, Vertex Tax Software, Logistics, and Warehouse Management
  • Actively participate and contribute in various phases of S4 HANA implementation project which requires to work closely with other teams within IT, Consultants, Business and Project management team
  • User training and creating SWIs

 

Candidate Requirements: Skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position includes the following:

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (strong experience and skill that is ideal for this position may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Thorough knowledge of SAP SD Modules (SD-MD Master Data, SD-BF Basis functions, SD-SLS Sales, SD-FTT Trade, SD-SHP Shipping, SD-BIL Billing, SD-CAS sales support, SD-REB Rebates)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP condition technique including pricing and output determination
  • Good integration knowledge with other modules like FI, MM
  • Good exposure to Interfaces, IDOCs
  • Thorough understanding of order to cash processes to support any requirement from business
  • Experience with SAP tables and ad-hoc lookups for basic query extracts
  • Working knowledge of Company operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Requirements gathering, understanding, and translating
  • Working with global teams collaborating effectively and producing results and deliverables
  • At least 2-3 implementation experiences
  • General Sales Analytics Reporting experience
  • Business Process Transformation experience
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in various SAP-SD sales order cycle including Billing, sales support, foreign trade & shipping fundamentals
