Partner Network Services Director - Americas

Job Description

  • As part of the Value Add Solutions Senior Leadership Team for the Americas, play an integral and pivotal role in developing and leading the Americas Products and Solutions roadmap as a strategic priority and growth driver
  • Build and execute a partner network strategic roadmap that supports a $multi-million Services  business in the Americas, delivered through an industry leading, digitally led and differentiating solutions offer, that enables value for our customers and suppliers and maximum returns for our business
  • Lead a portfolio of strategic change initiatives and investments (as business owner) that will enable best practice capabilities and external partnerships alliances, ensuring the business is able to scale effectively, efficiently and profitably as we drive change
  • Build and manage an invest/ partner/ buy portfolio of targets as part of our wider organic/ -in-organic growth strategy   
  • Develop and lead change initiatives & process solutions that remove complexity, drive efficiencies and creates stickiness, aligned to our commercial agenda
  • Build a high-performance function and team, full of talent and unified in its purpose, core values and a diverse & inclusive culture

About the role

Accountable for leading the development, execution and delivery model that enables us to work closer with our strategic suppliers to bring new services to market, and to drive further margin accretive services with specialist partners in areas such as Smart Factories, Maintenance Services, Sustainability & Energy Management and Additive Manufacturing.  The role will act as the primary Business Development lead for this offer, bringing to market value propositions that meet the core & future needs of our customers and suppliers, and that enables a clear and aggressive pipeline for adoption. 

The role holder will work closely with market peers (Functional Heads & VAS Leadership Team) and Senior Leaders across the group, to ensure we are positioned to build out the services portfolio at pace and for the prioritization and management of a pipeline for in-organic acquisition and/ or in-house build capabilities where appropriate. 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Significant leadership level experience of New Business Development Sales within a Services Industry(s)
  • Ability to develop, influence, lead and deliver business plans & eco system that will move the dial in the value we provide our customers and suppliers going forward
  • Proven ability to drive a commercial agenda, with the potential for functional P&L accountability and ownership
  • Self-motivator, with the ability to think and articulate strategically and conceptually, and to influence and drive execution and step-change performance through others
  • Exceptional people leadership skills with a natural ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and in a cross-regional matrix structure
  • Strong business and commercial acumen 
  • Understanding of product and services dynamics within industrial industry would be advantageous
  • Long range planning skills to ensure capability and capacity to meet business strategy
  • Ability to externalise our internal competence and expertise
