Core Purpose of My Role & What decisions I’m empowered to make

The primary purpose of this position is to distribute and/or process customer quotes and purchase orders, process shipping escalation requests and act as a support to the Sales and Service teams.

Key Deliverables for my role

  • Retrieving distributing and/or entering customer quotes from email and customer quoting platforms
  • Retrieving, distributing, acknowledging and/or entering or updating customer purchase orders from email and customer or 3rd party E-Commerce platforms
  • Customer Account assignment coding
  • Engage with ISRs to ensure orders are processed timely
  • Administrative duties on customer E-Commerce platforms as required
  • Process purchase order exceptions through EDI Workflow
  • Research/vet shipping escalation requests within InvGate
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Key relationships for my role/Who do I need to consult with?

Work regularly requires interaction with other departments, frequently sales, and managers outside work unit to resolve mutual problems and to collaborate on work while ensuring internal satisfaction and service is maintained.

Who do I need to keep informed and engege with?

Internal : Consistency of processes and experience for customers is key, therefore, remaining engaged with direct colleagues is a priority, while also keeping managers and other departments informed of concerns and successes for customers, especially Sales.

External : N/A
