Team Leader Enquiry Management Specialist

About the role:

 

As the Team Leader Enquiry Management Specialist, you will provide a first-class customer experience by identifying / sourcing requested products across multiple suppliers ensuring you negotiate the best possible price with the right lead-time for our customers and go the extra mile to engage customers and Suppliers to build strong relationships.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Lead / mentor the X ref and Liaison teams
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Manage large amounts of incoming enquiries and product lists
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with other departments
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete quotations
  • You will be expected to complete all quotes to agreed timelines (on time in full) whilst obtaining the very best level of manufacturers support / pricing.
  • Meet personal / team objectives

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Ideally you must have proven extensive experience in sourcing a diverse range of products and have extensive product knowledge across multiple product categories
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Able to confidently communicate with customers and suppliers both written and verbal
  • Ability to negotiate and extract the best costs from suppliers, and demonstrates commercial awareness
  • Numerate, and confident in understanding manufacturers quotations, units of measure, pack sizes, etc.
  • Detailed and task focused, with the ability to multitask whilst keeping track of SLA deadlines
  • Self interest in personal development and passionate about learning more about products and suppliers
  • Positive can-do attitude, takes ownership with strong attention to detail skills
  • Intermediate or advanced user of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Confident, highly motivated, organised, proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Customer focused with a strong desire to competitively exceed sales targets and associated expectations.
