We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Manager to join our RS Pro Team.

 

The purpose of the RS PRO Digital Content Manager is to drive commercial results through the optimisation of RS PRO Content and processes.  The role will incorporate New Product Introduction (NPI) content, ensuring it meets customer needs as well as optimising content for products throughout the product lifecycle.

 

You will be driving the delivery and improvements of product content by working closely with the RS PRO team, Manufacturers, Digital Content teams and Product & Supplier Managers.  

 

This position is available on a 12 Month Fixed Term contract and offers hybrid working where you can work from home or in our Corby offices.

 

 

About the role

 

  • Direct line management of RS PRO Digital Content Enrichment Executives (including development, appraisals, 121’s)
  • Ensuring an optimal process is in place to provide high quality, branded content assets in a timely manner
  • Working with internal and external partners to ensure there is a seamless process 
  • Optimisation of content for high potential, high revenue launches
  • Reporting on the performance of suppliers (internal and external) to the process
  • Identifying high potential products to enrich either within the RS PRO Content Team or the Digital Content Enrichment Teams
  • Managing resource requirements with the Enrichment Teams for Supplier Sponsored Enrichment activities (either funded by RS PRO or external suppliers)
  • Working with Visual Content Team to ensure high impact RS PRO products have world class visuals (photographs, videos, etc)
  • Work closely with RS PRO, Product and Technical teams as well as directly with suppliers
  • Co-ordinating work packets with an offshore team
  • Performance Reporting (NPI, enrichment)
  • Creation and management of RS PRO Digital Content strategy aligned with the RS PRO and Digital Content strategies
  • Managing senior stakeholders

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Good analytical skills, experience with digital reporting tools, such as Adobe Analytics
  • A Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Stakeholder management
  • Experience managing a team
