Paid Social & Display Strategist

About the role:

 

As the Paid Social & Display Strategist, you will have direct ownership and execution of programmatic campaigns on DV360 across all RS regions, with a bigger focus on EMEA. Ownership and execution of paid social (mostly LinkedIn and Facebook) campaigns and you will be the subject matter expert in display and paid social programmatic areas, such as creation of in-depth analysis, setting benchmarks, identifying trends & opportunities.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Being able to advise on best approaches on display and video campaigns format and targeting.
  • Working closely with media planners and marketing directors to establish strategies tailored to market objectives, advising on the most suitable platforms and formats in each case.
  • Govern campaign strategy across the different business work streams.
  • Manage daily pacing, real-time boosting, optimisation and testing across ads to improve performance and impact positively engagement rates, sales and revenue across the business.
  • Deliver regular reports and analysis to internal stakeholders, showing campaign results and highlighting key trends
  • Liaising directly with key stakeholders across the business and markets on a day-to-day basis, with direct contact with regional marketing directors and agency contacts.
  • Owning stakeholders’ relationship to negotiate and create the right deals for the programmatic campaigns. Discussing pricing, audience setup and targeting approaches and negotiating conditions.
  • Liaise with media owners e.g agencies and Google.
  • Onsite analysis using Adobe Analytics and advertising platforms reporting tools
  • Deep diving into audience insights and communication with audiences’ managers to setup and define new audiences.
  • Direct contact with the Insights team to provide frequent reporting feeding the display dashboards available across the business.
  • Monitor industry trends and updates to be able to report back on insights / and new concepts and ideas
  • Coaching and training executive members in the team on best practices on the setup of DV360 and paid social campaigns

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Hands on experience on DV360 environment, campaign setup and reporting, with at least 3 years’ experience setting up DV360 display and video campaigns on both open exchange and direct deals
  • Hands on experience on Facebook and LinkedIn campaigns (other channels desirable)
  • Previous experience managing 6 figures monthly budgets and multimarket campaigns
  • Good knowledge of the industry as well as dynamics on setting up campaigns on both open exchange and deals.
  • Previous experience working with main industry players such as Captify, Bombora, Tripelift and Youtube.
