Management Accountant

Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis and will be a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and working at our Corby and Nuneaton site 1-2 days per week.


We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance community, supporting the Supply Chain function.


The team are intent on having fun and unwavering in their support for each other to achieve their personal ambitions. The team is focussed on driving value through strong integrated relationships, whilst remaining objective and challenging in their role as critical friends. You will  play an integral part in both the Finance function and the Supply Chain function.  


This role provides a great platform for a full or part qualified accountant looking to accelerate their journey.


What you will do

  • Be a key member of the EMEA Finance Team and a valued partner of the Supply Chain function
  • Responsible for cost budget and forecasting process for the Corby and Nuneaton distribution centres
  • Provide accurate and realistic commentary on performance against agreed criteria
  • Maintain a commercial mind set when identifying actions or making decisions. Understand the implications of, and be accountable for, those decisions.
  • Find new and innovative ways to present data to ensure that the business fully understands the trends, issues, and opportunities


A bit about you

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) part qualified or qualified.
  • Experience supporting a Supply Chain function is desirable
  • Demonstrates an experience and strong understand of management accounts and financial cycles.
  • Demonstrates clear examples of effective working relationships and the understanding of how that relationship can help drive the business forward.
  • Demonstrates effective communication to wider team of key financial variables.
  • Personable, enthusiastic, team oriented.
  • Good communicator who can build strong relationships in a matrix structure.
  • Ability to manage own workload effectively under own initiative.
