Lead Generation Campaign Executive

About the role:

 

An exciting opportunity to join a passionate B2B marketing team and activate lead generation programmes across multi-channel 360° marketing campaigns. A fundamental element of our UK & Ireland marketing approach is the generation of marketing qualified leads, via targeted and engaging lead generative activity. These activities help build a pipeline of sales opportunities for our sales teams to follow up and convert into new business.

 

Our goal is to deliver sustainable and profitable growth by unlocking the untapped value within our existing customer base, while simultaneously looking for high potential opportunities within businesses which currently don’t trade with RS. The role will reside in the commercial programmes working closely with the campaign activation team.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Management of all lead generative activities end-to-end
  • Working with the channel owners – either within the UK & I team or our EMEA organisation to manage the schedule of activities across the required channels
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of lead generation techniques and targeting mythologies
  • Work with the creative team and creative agencies to produce compelling and engaging assets, suitable for the chosen channel and target audience
  • Lead creative development to motivate our target audience to “take action”
  • Measure and report performance of our lead generative activities and audience reactions
  • Act as the lead generation champion for UK & I, working with other areas of the wider RS organisation
  • Enrich our lead generation programme with tests and marketing best practice

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Worked in a multi-national matrix organisation marketing community
  • Hands-on digital campaign experience, with proven experience of targeted social media – especially Linkedin
  • Broad marketing experience covering campaign management, social media, e-mail and content marketing
  • Marketing experience within B2B would be preferrable
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective approaches to engage that audience
  • Experience of executing multi-channel marketing programs is beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with data-driven thinking
  • Commercial awareness
  • Outstanding communication skills
