The Digital Insight Analyst is a key critical role in delivering this purpose and hitting commercial targets through web experience improvements. As we start to optmise more of our online experiences it’s important that we focus on areas that drive the largest commercial gain.


The Digital Insight Analyst is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity across the Digital customer experience via our current data and insight tools. These insights will drive conversion rate optimisation by shaping the product backlogs and help the prioritisation of the delivery & experimentation pipelines.


What are we looking for


  • Act as lead subject matter expert and point of contact for commercial optimisation teams on Digital insights.
  • Responsible for analysing our current data points to identify opportunities and areas of improvement on the web.
  • Supporting the creation of measurement frameworks with Product Owners to track approved KPI’s.
  • Use data and wider commercial knowledge to support and challenge the Digital Optimisation teams around their decision making and development pipeline.
  • Responsible for producing dashboards highlighting key customer paths and tracking specific page KPI’s e.g. Add to carts, bounce rates etc.
  • Undertake regular in-depth analysis on KPI performance across the Digital experience.
  • Weekly reporting and understanding of Digital KPI’s across the domains – Red/Amber/Green status.
  • Building close working relationships with the Product management, Experimentation, MarTech (data layer) & Business insights areas of the business.
  • Review and analyse the competitor landscape to generate new insights for the Digital delivery teams.




  • Experience using Adobe Analytics (preferred) or Google Analytics
  • Search platform / search user journey experience
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets together using a visualisation tool such as PowerBi
  • Experience using omni-channel, multi-touch attribution
  • Strong problem-solving skill set and commercially astute
  • Excellent communication skills, you’ll be comfortable presenting to large groups at all levels
  • Experience of having worked in a Digital orientated business
  • Ability to multi-task across numerous projects.
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with Agile & Continuous product discovery methodologies
