Here at RS, we are always looking to recruit & grow the future of our business and one way is through apprenticeships. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain Operations Team as an Administration Apprentice.
This is an 18 month Apprenticeship with an option to progress to a permanent position if the business circumstances allow.
You will need to be comfortable using a PC and programs such as Outlook and Excel. Training will be given during the apprenticeship on the tasks required for the role until you are comfortable doing these yourself.

You will start by completing the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard found here:
Business administrator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
This is an advanced apprenticeship, equivalent to A levels and will set you up for a career in Business.
Main Duties
- Data collection, clean-up & transformation
- Data entry into databases and reports
- Supporting Corby’s Management Team with the timely and accurate information they will need to make crucial business decisions.
- Communicating effectively with departments across site and other areas of the business.
What are we looking for?
• Excellent communicator – You will need to be able to simplify complicated concepts into ‘easy to understand’ terms and produce clear reports that can drive improvements. Including delivery training material.
• Attention to detail – Spot mistakes and look for improvements to processes.
• Time management – Ability to schedule multi-day, multi-party. Conduct regular inspections while dealing with ad-hoc priorities.
• Logical approach – Systemically apply processes to encourage consistent outcomes.
- PC skills in Microsoft Office incl. Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint
We are offering a £18k salary plus company benefits & 22 days paid holiday
