RS has an exciting opportunity for a Country Marketing Executive 

 

We are looking for a Swedish-speaking Country Marketing Executive who can help us with structuring and coordinating our marketing activities in Sweden and take over while our Swedish team member is on maternity leave.

 

This role is offered on a full time, fixed term 11 months contract, starting February 2023.

 

About the role

 

Together with the Marketing Director – Scandinavia and the head of Marketing for Rest of EMEA (Scandinavia, Benelux, Eastern Europe, South Africa, and Emerging Markets), you will propose a plan to grow the awareness of the RS Brand, grow our customer base and revenue per customer to support the business ambitions.

You will manage the marketing plan for Sweden, execute some of the campaigns yourself, but also manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure your activities are deployed on time and on budget.

To prepare your local marketing plan, to reach and engage a targeted audience, you will work closely with the Supplier Marketing Manager, Content Manager, Education Program Leader and Social Media Strategist supporting Rest of EMEA. And of course, you Danish and Norwegian colleagues in the Scandinavian Marketing Department.

You will have the responsibility presenting your plans and track the performance of your activities, so we can adjust where needed.  It will be your responsibility to select the right channels within the limit of the allocated budget: emails, landing pages, events, social media, advertising, sponsoring etc.

We work with various Content Marketing Systems, which you will be trained in to upload the content of emails and campaigns for the Swedish market.

What we’re looking for

 

  • You must have a good balance of strategic planning and operational skills to schedule the campaigns and activities as well as ensuring the deployment of your plan. You will also be very precise in what and how you do it, as well as being a responsible budget owner.
  • You may understand industrial environments and the various stakeholders, but ideally you are coming from a campaign management background.
  • You can run digital campaigns, organise events, and understand the role that social media plays in building communities.
  • You have experience working with or for manufacturers, so you know how to build a plan to generate more exposure for a brand, new products, or a specific solution, identifying the right target audience and the right channels and tools of communication.
  • You are experienced with all activation tools especially digitals to generate traffic.
  • You are a good presenter to attend customer meetings and events to capture content.
  • You are confident to present results of your activities to senior management.
  • You have a proven track record of building and deploying marketing plans for at least 3 years. You have tangible results that you can present.
  • You have good presentation skills, you like multicultural environments, you are well articulated, organised and get along easily with people from various cultures.
  • You like to support, but you can also be clear on what can and can’t be done.
  • You must be a Swedish native speaker and we expect that you speak and understand English at a high level.
  • Skilled in Microsoft packages including Excel.
