We're seeking a Customer and Commercially focussed Business Analyst with Marketing, Sales and Service process/technology systems experience to join our exciting global initiative to implement a Customer Master Data Management (CMDM) and Customer Data Platform (CDP) that will enable a 360° omni-channel view of our customers by exploiting cutting-edge technology.
In this role, you will be working with a team of BAs and will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across EMEA initially. The Business Analyst is tasked with helping the business meet its objectives and goals. This involves working with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring business needs are explored, captured, analysed, and verified so that the solutions designed and delivered meet the change objectives.
What We’re Looking For
In this role, you will be working alongside Marketing colleagues to provide Business Analysis support needed to deliver the CMDM and CDP global projects. You MUST have the following:
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role with experience of Customer Data Management or Customer Data Platforms and worked with Marketing and Sales teams (Essential)
- Previous experience as a in house Business Analyst with a matrix organisation (Essential)
- Strong process modelling skills using Visio or any other tools.
- Proven ability to work independently and can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in line with project timelines.
- Collaborate with the other Business Analysts on the project to deliver the required artefacts.
- Strong analytical skills with good business acumen.
- Ability to conduct effective requirements workshops and can adapt to apply a variety of elicitation techniques accordingly.
- A passion for delivery achieved through well-written user stories and acceptance criteria, working with team members to deliver the required analysis.
- Proficient in other requirement techniques such as use cases, process modelling analysis and supporting notation (As-is, To-be, workflows, user journeys etc.).
- Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence.
- Uses critical thinking to solve problems, and to investigate options and alternatives instead of accepting the first solution given.
- Ability to rise above low-level details to see the big picture, therefore thinking ahead to anticipate needs and foresee future problems.
- Ability to gauge the pulse of the project and when necessary, go the extra mile to make things happen.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Highly competent in presentation and facilitation skills.
- B2B / B2C E-commerce domain experience.
